Rochdale Leisure Centre
A new state-of-the-art swimming pool and sports complex for Rochdale is now well underway and it will open in 2012 to complement the other fantastic new facilities across the Borough.
Currently being built adjacent to the existing facility on Entwisle Road, it will include a 25-metre swimming pool, changing village, gym, new sports hall, and community facilities. The centre will replace the existing ‘Central Leisure’ facility which was built in the 1930s and is now outdated in terms of design and layout of the facilities.
